Do you want to remove jailbreak from iOS device but don’t know how to do it? Well, you are at right place my friend. It is an exciting moment when we jailbreak our iOS device. We get freedom to install anything in our device. We do whatever we want to do. However, our excitement get low when issues started appearing within our device, such as low performance, etc.
We also don’t want to restore our iOS device via iTunes because then it will install latest firmware which may not support jailbreak. I already wrote an tutorial that how to restore iOS 10 without losing Jailbreak with SemiRestore Lite. But, this is an another tutorial on same subject.
Prerequisites
- Remove all Cydia tweaks from device
- Take a full backup of your device
Install OSRestoreX
Initially, you need to install OSRestoreX in your device. To do that, simple open up Cydia and add below source in it.
https://repo.jailbreakhub.org
Install & Uninstall iCleaner
Now, install iCleaner tweak in your device and remove all unecessary tweaks or tweaks’ files from your device. After cleaning up your device, remove iCleaner as well
Remove Jailbreak from iOS
#1: Open up OSRestoreX and go to Settings
#2: Click on ‘Erase all Content and Settings‘ and Erase it
Now, Jailbreak will be removed from your device after reboot with having a same firmware.
