It allows members to rent movies on DVD or Blu-ray, and also watch movies and TV shows online with a computer, game console, smartphone, tablet or Internet-connected TV.

Don’t know, but Netflix made it very difficult to delete or remove the viewing activity, especially for continue watching. Most of the time, you start watching a movie or series and we don’t like it, then we start watching something else. However, that movie or series stuck in our “Continue watching” list forever. There is no way Netflix give to remove it from that list straight away.

You can not access Netflix’s account settings from its app so you have to access those settings from web browsers. To do so, follow the steps below:

1. Open up Netflix on your favourite web browser.

2.  Select your profile and click the link below.

Alternatively, you can go to account settings. Scroll down and click on Viewing activity from My Profile tab.

3. Now, there will be a list of all movies and series that you have watched or watching.

4. Click on this “” icon to hide it from viewing history.

5. Done. From now on, you will not see that item in your Netflix’s viewing history.

Remove All Items from Continue Watching on Netflix

If you want to hide all the items from continue watching on your Netflix profile then follow below steps.

1. Open up Netflix on your favourite web browser.

2.  Select your profile and click the link below.

Alternatively, you can go to account settings. Scroll down and click on Viewing activity from My Profile tab.

3. Scroll down to the bottom and click on “Hide all” link.

Remove Items from Continue Watching on Netflix’s Mobile App

Sorry to say but Netflix doesn’t allow to access the account settings from its app. If you will try to access account settings from the app then it will show you this error:

So, the only way to remove items from continue watching for Netflix on mobile devices is via a browser.

1. Open up Netflix on your favourite web browser.

Another way to Remove Items from Continue Watching on Netflix for Mobile App & Web

This way is only applicable to movies.

This will sound crazy but you can remove the item from Continue watching on Netflix for mobile devices and web with this way as well and it’s very easy to do.

All you have to do is, forward the movie to the “End credits” and play it for 5 seconds. Done. Now, according to Netflix, you have already watched that movie and it will not show in Continue watching list.

An Alternate way to Remove Items from Continue Watching on Netflix

There is an alternate way to remove the items from continue watching on Netflix. You can create a new profile on your Netflix and remove the existing one. With this, you can have a fresh profile without any watching history at all. However, you will lose all the items from “My List” as well. To do follow the steps below:

1. Open up Netflix on your favourite browser.

2. Click on Manager Profile button.

3. Click on Pencil for your profile that you want to delete.

4. Click on Delete Profile button.

5. Now, click on the Add Profile button.

6. Choose a profile icon and give a name to your profile.

7. Done.

You can have up to five individual profiles within a single Netflix account.
